This forum is owned and operated by SJ. He makes the rules, we enforce them.

I would expect you to know the difference.

One of the problems is that the forum ran, unchecked, for a very long time. People got used to chaos and anarchy, all the while screaming that more moderation was needed.

Now there IS more moderation (yet NOTABLY less than at some OTHER forums I frequent) and people are complaining that there's moderation.

Again, though, the key is for everyone to handle their complaints, objections and suggestions in a reasonable manner. This thread is a PRIME example. A questions was asked, it's been answered and, thus far, everyone is being reasonable, calm, collected and adult about things. If everyone remains that way, this thread will NOT be locked, people will NOT be banned and we can all carry on. If people start with the sideways comments, the cries of "fascist" and the shenanigans again, though, it WILL be locked and then there'll be even MORE calamity.

And keep this in mind...This isn't any fun for us. We don't WANT to close threads. We don't WANT to ban people. We don't WANT to have to get involved. If people make us, though, we will.

Can you PLEASE extend DW's ban just a little longer? It's been so quiet (relatively speaking) with him gone. And now with Spikey banned....... well, lets just say it would be well within keeping the peace to have him quiet for a bit longer!! LOLOL!!!!

One question I asked Lu and she didnt know maybe you other Mods may have an idea. In the rules it says if you get banned and you think it unjust to PM SmokinJoe to possibly get the ban removed.

My question is..... How do you PM SmokinJoe if you are banned???

oh he is currently banned ? it was almost quiet in here. ok, the ban of the nun was abit upsetting. looked so much out of the blue.
