Correct me if I am wrong.

This is a forum for people who are users of the E-Cigarette.

It was started as a knowledge base for new users to help them into the scene.

It was populated by people who GENUINELY wanted to help and spent time and effort to do so. Time given freely.

I for one am TRULY grateful.

When did it get taken over by the power mad, axe-wielding self important tyrants with nothing better to do with their lives than dictate to others their version of the truth?

What do you think the new users of the E-Cig, the very people the forum was set up to help, are going to make of this place? and E-Cig users in general?

Think about it.

If you were a newbie and stumbled across this place, full of questions and doubt, what the hell would you think?

What sort of an impression do you lot give?

Who needs the governments banning E-Cigs when you lot can put off any one interested.

Spikey, THANK YOU.
Leaford, Thank You.
Walrus, Thank You.

The UK users, THANK YOU.

Most of the rest of you, Try and keep your dummies in the pram.

I`m now getting my coat.

Proof once again, people get the governing body they deserve. democracy in action.

I've been on a lot of boards in the last decade or so. Some are like the wild west, with no moderation whatsoever. Others are moderated to the point that it kills the board. Personally, I tend to think that conflicts work themselves out and that moderators should generally stay out of it. However, there are disadvantages to a completely hands off approach.

Honestly, I think ECF is right about in the middle in terms of moderator intervention. Sometimes I think it's too much, other times I think it's not enough. In other words, I think the overall approach is probably just about right.

I'm glad that we can agree on this point at least, aspen.

Oh, and we also agree that vaporing is a good thing and should be protected from idiotic government intervention.

In honor of Spikey, Kate, and freedom of speach, message me for my response to this thread.

Totally different avatar was present when that post was made. At the time, it was an old man with a long beard wearing a shirt that said "SEX" in large letters.

Looked like this...

And that post was made as a joke
