But I tried to look again and bam it was gone and a new thread was started that got ugly fast.
It did stay open for as long as it was civil.

I've read the entire thread and it went something like this;

Spikey's first post.

Debate over rules / thread deletions / bans

Support for Spikey

Support for the mods

Calm banter

(meanwhile, other threads are being made)

Spikey = banned

Thread deleted.

This is like the 30th thread about it so no one is moving on. It would get very old to spend every day moderating these threads instead of discussing our pv's(remember what this forum is about) and our real enemies.
I cried a little...inside...when I read this.

Little emotional tears of joy because, finally, someone gets it.

Like I said I did miss the end of the thread and I don't doubt that it got ugly.

So why don't YOU move on instead of posting to these silly threads?

closing threads i understand to a point. Deleting them to prevent people ( especially those involved ) forming an opinion is wrong..imo.

closing is moderation , deletion is censorship

Threads will remain un-deleted as long as the content of those threads is not overly disruptive, inflammatory or in major violation of the rules.

The threads that have been deleted contained all of the above.

Also, you (and everyone else) agreed to being censored, when necessary, when you agreed to the TOU's and forum rules.

Again, you've been around enough forums to know this stuff, ApO...

Devil's advocate doesn't suit you.
