You're flaunting all your firepower because of eminent domain and compulsory public education? Those are your major gripes? You'd be better served by retaining a good attorney.

Very, very well stated! I would also add that folks need to speak with their votes and, as dumwaldo points out, get involved.

True.

Yet, how often do we hear the reference to the gov't as nanny? Far too often I'd say, and it's been that way for awhile and growing with more and more becoming "dependent" upon the gov't every day.

Of those, how many will fight their meal ticket?

That, to me, is a major part of the problem.

I hope to not be taken wrong in that I don't wish for those who need help to get it. That is not my wish at all.

Ooh! Ooohh! Let me try and think of a right that is in the process of being taken away by our government that's obviously in the name of established big business!!

How about the right to make an informed adult decision to vape instead of to smoke? No biggie really, just possibly life or death, and a flagrant violation of our right to the pursuit of happiness??

IMHO I will put up one post. I will not respond.

This country was created "UNDER" God, with "in God we trust".
Our country became great and the most powerful nation because it was created with Christian principles.
Now we are turning away from these principles, no more prayer in school, no 10 commandments, etc.
Soon Christianity will be frowned on (as it already is in many ways).
THIS is why this country is going "to hell in a handbasket". Turn away from the Almighty and He will turn away from you. SIMPLE! We say we don't need Him, He responds by letting us just "do it ourselves" without regard for Him.
BTW: the Bible says these things will happen...looky there....it IS happening.
Things WILL get worse and continue to get worse until Christ returns.

I know...I'm just a Bible toting nutcase. Go ahead...let the insults fly. I have God on my side.

This may or may not happen, nobody knows yet. But if it does happen then our fight for a right to vape will be in the courts, not in the streets with guns. And we could convince every smoker we know to either vape or stop using Philip Morris products. That effort alone would give them reason to take us seriously. Philip Morris IS Big Business, and we could change that in a heartbeat by starting groundswell of enthusiasm for boycotting them. I bet that most vapers who also continue to smoke analogs are smoking PM products. I love the irony of that.

Hey BigJimW, Mr Awesome Dude.

I'm tying to see a distinction between sitting on our fat asses watching American Idol, or sitting on our fat asses with dark glasses and a silly hat making vanity videos for YouTube.

Give me a clue.
