Default Timeless Question....... Who is the Greatest???

So here we go, that age old question that will spark heated debate and
controversy for all eternity.

Who is the GREATEST guitar player ever????????

#1 Stevie Ray Vaughn
#2 Jimi Hendrix
#3 Eric Clapton

Your thoughts??

Mace

You don't have to pick from these 3. Who so YOU think is the greatest??

since you didn't include Esteban from QVC, I'll go with Stevie Ray, although Clapton has had a longer practice session.

As much as I love Jimi, listen to anything he did, followed by SRV's cover.
Jimi might have inovated it, But Stevie perfected it.

From your list I'd go with Hendrix, for classical I'd go with Andres Segovia.

It's funny you mention Esteban, he claims to have studied with Segovia
