That would be well and good, IF it was something that was planned, however, I am thinking this was not a planned event.

This wasn't a planned event Surf, and I'm sure an explanation will be posted at some point.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one blaming my equipment. Thought I would get some other stuff done, but I was too busy checking to see if we were back up an runnin! Addicted (sp) much

The fact that the site no longer works in a number of browsers seems to support this conclusion, and that gets back to my original comment. Tinkering with the server is fine, but at least tell us that there may be some outages and try to keep up updated. Letting the site go down for 24 hours with no warning and no subsequent explanation is disrespectful of the membership.

Remember, too, that sometimes these things just HAPPEN. And you're not going to have all the little gory details....

Think of it this way: Do you expect the President of your company to tell you each and every minute detail about the finances of the running of your company? Of course not. There are some things you're not going to be privy to...... and there are things happening to the administration of this forum that the members are not going to be privy to, either.

I'm just glad ECF is back up and running....I missed this place!
