Quest is actually a tobacco cigarette - not an herb one. It is manufactured in 3 levels - I believe they are .6 mg, .3 and 0. The .6 and .3 actually are no different than many popular brands. I dont know about 0 - there does seem to be a pointlessness to it. At least with the e-cig and the 0 nico cartridge you dont get the nasty stuff with your pleasure.

And quirky, I understand that. I understand that e-cigs>cigs. However, they break so easily and rarely last a month - even the good ones. It's such a hassle, and they're pricey too! I promised myself I'd wait at least a few months for new generations to come out. This topic wasn't about everyone telling me these cigs are bad, they were about how they taste/opinions. | ||

Well -I wont tell you cigarettes are bad. But really - cigarettes are not just bad. Nicotine not withstanding, smoking was the worst mistake of my life. But in all honesty - if you are set on smoking electronic cigs are really not all that fickle. The zero nic is a real bonus because you can still get all the great flavors. And - there is no crap to clog your lungs or damage to your brain. The thing is - its the smoke that kills. Its the smoke that carries the chemicals laden in engineered tobacco straight to the most vulnerable part of the body. Why in gods name anyone would CHOOSE to smoke is beyond me. Just because a product is not "addictive" does not make it safe. It just makes it even more of a stupid life style choice. But - no one on this forum did not make that choice at some point in their lives. We all did and every single one of us wishes we had listened to the people who told us not to. We were stupid, ignorant and irresponsible. If you want to join us - go right ahead. The fact is, we are all a bunch of boneheads. Nice crowd eh? |

Thanks for the concern, really. But you missed the point. And why make this choice? Because I enjoy smoking. Everyone dies. I'm one to be very realistic. Just like I believe there's no God [No proof, in the least bit at all]. I read posts on here saying their NJOY broke after a week. That makes me nervous about buying such things. Sure, sounds great, but I don't have the time to fiddle with everything and send it back, wait another week, etc. I'll stick with herbals though. When e-cigs get quality [if they actually stay legal, lol], I'll try them. Case closed.

we ALL enjoy smoking mate...its just that most of us have been doing it long enough for it to impact on our mental and physical health, and to realise that its not a good idea.very bad idea actually.herbal cigs are not exactly healthy for you either.we are trying to give you the benefit of our experience and knowledge, but you arent listening...nothing much else we can do for you.i urge you to buy a cheap ecig from ebay, and just see what you think-i have bought some of these and have had no problems with them at all.i believe in the freedom of the individual to make their own choices, its your body-we are just trying to give you good advice.take it or leave it.

@xxsannxx, have you read this: "The product is available in three versions. Quest 1, Quest 2, and Quest 3. Each version of the product contains a different amount of nicotine. Quest 1 is reported to have of .6 mg of nicotine. Quest 2 is reported to have of .3 mg of nicotine. Quest 3 is reported to have only trace amounts of nicotine (.05 mg). Importantly, the manufacturer stresses that Quest cigarettes contain all of the unhealthy Carcinogens and have the same side affects of a regular cigarette with the single exception of reduced Nicotine levels. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quest_(cigarette) Reading this, you might as well pick up any cheap low or none nicotine cigarette, even a none brand, it will be a lot cheaper than buying the name brand *Quest*. I would try the njoy if I were you, you will receive a refund, if you're not happy, minus shipping cost. They have very good customer service, and you don't have to bother to sent it back to China, Holland or England. |

Yeah, I'm looking at the NJOY. And this topic requires no more posts, so stop posting please. I can't exactly afford the NJOY, so I might have to buy a cheapo. :S Hope I'm not disappointed. And thanks all for the advice, but as said before, you act like I don't know what smoking does you. Thanks for the concern. I'll order a e-cig soon. Edit: For all that care, I'm going to order a JANTY KISSBOX, apparently the best. They have nice flavors+reviews. I'll give it a shot. Quote:

Whadda mean, no more posts?! I just spotted this. And I've smoked Quest cigs -- all three levels. The things are not for long-term use, because they are incredibly expensive compared to regular commercial cigarettes. Just before Quest, I had tried to smoke herbal brands and hated them. Yuck, what a taste. So I started with the high Quest (I've written this before on this forum but threads sure move down the list FAST). Those were okay, but I liked the taste of my own favorite brand best. I moved to the second level. And smoked more cigs to make up for the decreased nicotine in each cig. When I went to no-nicotine Quests, it was about as unsatisfying as it can get. I got no kick at all, of course, so I was just, literally, blowing smoke. I hated it. Went back to my favorite cigs. All posts here are correct in pointing out that with Quest you get all the carcinogenic content in smoke without any of the pleasant effects of accompanying nicotine. And you pay more for the decreased pleasure. These are ONLY useful to quit smoking. And that part failed for me. Bottom line: This is an expensive way to fail to quit smoking cigarettes. |
