    Default Gripper carto clearance issue

Just got my Gripper and I'm a little confused why the carto tube is so small! Mine won't fit a standard CE clearo... (new plastic ones from GV), where the description gives the impression it would fit standard cartos without issue. Am I missing something? Attempting to put in a standard Clearo it seperates at the seam. I assume impossible to draw because of the tight fit. Untested, as I don't want to split the thing open. I'd hate to have to widen the tube, as I don't think it will take much stress.

    Any thoughts?

Yeah.. It's kind of by design to use the 44mm cartos. I've read that other are taking and shaving the inner rim or even running a slightly larger drill bit down the tube to get some extra clearance and it's working out pretty well for them. I haven;t tried it here yet though. I'm finding my favorite thing is to use the extension with an ego tank of dcc.

Here's the link to the drilled out one: Modding the Gripper Mod
