Default Question about 510 disposable atty?

I just got a 510 disposable, and the first thing i did was put on one of the carts to see how well it worked. I took a few drags, and on the thread one it tasted like burnt plastic. Now every time i take a hit it tastes like burnt plastic. I have tried dripping and have started using a different filler (tea bag). i was wondering if this atty is now shot or if their was a way to fix it?

    Thanx for any help.

hmm. I'd try giving it a wash and letting it dry.. There's not much in the atty that can hold onto a flavor like that (other than menthol)..

What do you recommend for cleaning it. I was wondering if maybe i burnt the wick and that is why it tastes that way.
    Thanx again

I usually just run them under the faucet for a couple of mins and then let them dry out a bit.. The wick material is pretty high temp stuff but I suppose it could melt..

I think that my problem was that it was burning dry. I had thought that the cart was pre filed but when i took it off after the third hit, and it was dry (on the top anyway, pulled the filler out later and their was some fluid at the bottom of the cart). The flavors that tend to stay in an atty are usually ones that are oil based, like mint and cinnamon, mine just tastes like burnt poly fill. i am trying to clean it right now but e will see how that goes, I will probably need a new one
