Default Item being held for inspection.

Hello folks, looking for some help here.
Recently I purchased a pv that cost $293USD and shipped it to a friend at Malaysia because I am afraid that my country's custom will confiscate it. The parcel was sent using USPS EMS, I believe they are handled by POS Laju.

I do not know what to do now, hoping that someone can help. Item status: "Item held for inspection - High Value Goods; location Johor Bahru"

    Thank you guys! Best regards

I've read somewhere that if the value of goods is below rm500 or $160usd, it will not be charged or hold. Above that, might take some time, or u'll have to go to custom office to pay the duty fee.

Yeah, depending on value it may get stuck till they have time to process it properly, same as in here;but them inspecting it doesnt mean fees will be applied (again, from CP experience only)

What I have heard since young from my parents and people around me, is that people over there who works for the government are very corrupted. I doubt that they won't charge me any fees. Didn't mean to be rude to the Malaysian folks here.
