The CDC says 1.2%, or 3 million.
I saw it in a New York Times article a month ago or so --- http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/08/sc...y-critics.html
"The number of Americans trying e-cigarettes quadrupled from 2009 to 2010, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Its survey last year found that 1.2 percent of adults, or close to three million people, reported using them in the previous month."
Wow, nice try!
But that number is how many reported using them in the previous month.
The number I'm looking for is how many people have used one through the end of 2010.
How about 32.2%??? http://tobaccocontrol.bmj.com/conten...BfoTedk2pcAB1I
That number is awareness of electronic cigarettes, which is an interesting number too.
But it's not the number of people who have used one.
