    Default smokeless Nonelectronic Cigarettes

Since my main attraction to smoke is smell and taste, I'm interested in trying some nonelectronic alternatives to see how I like them. I'm not using these as smoking sesations but rather as viable alternatives for when I can't smoke or when I'm just not in the mood. I've tried the Smoker's Option (nice but weak) and the Endit Smokeless Inhalers (absolutely horrible) so I'm hoping to find something like the first but with a stronger and richer flavour. I'm interested in Ciganot (called Krafe Away in some places), Cigastop, EzQuit, Light Free, Nirdosh, and Quit for Sure. Has anyone tried these and if so, what were they like? Any other smoke-free suggestions would be warmly welcomed. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with any of those.

    Let me ask you something.

If you are willing to experiment with all these different types of
things, why not try a high voltage personal vaporizer like the prodigy,
gg, silver bullet, etc. along with a tobacco juice.

I'm sure you have your reasons, I'm just curious if you would /
if you have tried these devices, and the juices.

Seems an appropriate question for me to ask at a forum dedicated to
    discussing these sorts of devices.

Sorry if I seem somehow inappropriate.

No, you're not inappropriate at all. I don't deal with juices because I'm totally blind and would ruin the ecig if I tried to pour the liquid into it, not being able to tell where it's going and how much is being used. I usually prefer the two-part models for this reason. There's less of a mess. I've never heard of the models you mentioned. Do they come with carts like regular ecigs and how do they taste?

I use a higher voltage personal vaporizer called a Prodigy from Puresmoker.com.

I had been a smoker of over twenty years I guess and when I quit five years ago I missed the smoking.

My friend Joe Sledgehammer told me about e-cigarettes. I watched a youtube video and I
laughed my ass off. Less than a month later I owned the high voltage personal vaporizer
    known as Prodigy.

The thing I was looking for was vapor - being a visual person - and throat kick. That is
the nice tingle i get on my throat when I smoke. For five years I missed that. I have it
again vaping with zero nicotine juices I make myself with a dash of menthol.

Most people here will tell you that you will find much pleasure in the flavors of electronic
    smoking. It's rather a fetish...

"Oh Crystal Vapor's Pumpkin Muffin is delightful with Yes Another Vendor's Cappuccino
    mix... " etc.

I stick with a Blueberry menthol mix I make myself. Maybe a tobacco flavor mixed in for variety.

So flavor, and the consequential taste of the vapor, is there.

Now I'm curious. How can you navigate the forum if you are blind?

Here is a link to investigate:

    Hope that helps.

Oh. Almost forgot. The Higher Voltage vaporizers usually use the drip
method. But with the proper atomizers (i.e. short bridge versus long bridge - I think I have that terminology correct -- I'm rather new at
this) may use a cart, and therefore keep your fluids at appropriate levels.

Magkisa: There is only one e-cigarette that would suit a blind person -- the Ruyan Jazz. It is a single-unit, disposable product with medium strength nicotine in it. Costs about $25 each and lasts a week under normal use. My local tobacco shop stocks them, and them only. He's sold a bunch to people coming off tobacco cigs.

These are perfect for you. Reach in a pocket and use. When the vapor ceases, throw it away and open another.

PS: I've advocated these for elderly smokers in nursing homes, etc. No fire hazard. Addiction satisfaction. No need to go outside. No bother for others. THESE are the approved e-cigs of tomorrow, after we bump past today.

Hmm, sounds interesting. I'll definitely have to investigate it for when I've got the cash, assuming that trick can be done for cart use. I use screenreading software that speaks to me. In this case, I'm using Leopard on my Macbook. It's actually built into every Mac today and is wonderful. I've also got readers for Windows, DOS and Apple IIGS. As for this site, it's a total nightmare to navigate.

I tried the Ezquit. It's a plastic tube with adjustable airflow. You drop in a damp paper cylinder that has been soaked in a mint flavoring.

The mint doesn't seem anywhere near strong enough for me. I would prefer something of a shocking menthol hit, but these don't do that. There is some small satisfaction if I take a long (30 second) lung hit, but all in all, I consider it too weak to be of any real use to me.

The nicorette inhaler (I internet ordered mine from New Zealand) gives copious quantities of nicotine (I got the 10mg box) but again, very very thin throat hit. A long hard draw provides a welcome peppery sensation, but doing that loads me up on nicotine real fast, so I have to put it down...No one seems to understand that the sensation of taking a hit is more critical than any other aspect to a long term smoker.

All in all, the inhaler is more effective for fighting cravings. The Ezquit would be 'okay' if the flavor stick was at least ten times more pungent.

    Good luck!

You might be able to help me in my Looking Into Disposables post in the newby forum. I actually listed a few different kinds and am looking for ideas. I usually smoke about two cigarettes a day and 16 mg of nicotine is way to high for me to consider. In ecigs, I go with 0, 6 (for a better kick), 8 or 11 mg. My fear is overdose, since I have no way to measure the stuff. I might try the Ruyan Jazz Free Style if I go that route. I love the two-part systems for the nondisposables. Btw, good for you for advocating these for the elderly. I bet you're saving alot of lives that way which otherwise might be compromised due to accidental fires etc.

I don't think I'd ever use that inhaler, since the nicotine isn't what I'm seeking, and when I do choose to have it, I prefer it in very low amounts. But since taste is my main objective, thanks for the warning. Something that's week like the Smoker's Option cigarettes just wouldn't do it for me. I remember, when I was very young, someone left a plastic cigarette lying around and I tried it. It was kind of like a mint flavour from what I remember and the taste seemed to be nice and strong. But then again, I was a child and not a smoker then. I to remember that it was round like a regular cigarette, not flat, and there didn't appear to be any way to put any paper into it, so I'm guessing it wasn't EZQuit.

I think I may have found something alot more to your tastes if you ever wanna go the nonecig way again. It's called Cigamint and it comes in several varieties. The difference here is that you actually use a bit of essential oil from a bottle to flavour it, just as you'd do with ejuice, so it's always fresh. I might try this cause even if I spill it, there's no nicotine to worry about and I can't ruin an atomizer, just a piece of plastic. Also, they sell empty ones so I can research the safety of various essential oils and try something instead of mint. Still looking into the Ciganot though, since I found that Cigastop contains caffeine. That surprised me given that it comes from Honeyrose, which is known for their natural products. I used to smoke their herbal cigs before switching to tobacco. Would the caffeine effect the body or no?
