We grow our own herbals to save money and mixed them with small amounts of tobacco for the nic fix. We tried lobelia, coltsfoot, and black mint...all smokable herbs. The coltsfoot added to the tobacco caused bad sore throats. The lobelia is better but like smoking dried tree leaves. The mint is the only good tasting additive. Herbals seems like a waste to me. They are cheap to free if you grow your own but they give no nic and give all the pollution from the smoke from burning. Seems to be the equivalent of smoking the pipe on a wood stove, in what you get out of it. |

I used to see herbals and cloves at some of the family owned gas stations around where I live. Now you can't even get them in specialty shops. Apparently they went the way of those flavored Camels and are now illegal. At least I won't smell like cloves anymore when I come home from shows. Hipsters love their cloves. |
