I got my lacewood mod today. Absolutely beautiful work by James. Now that I know how to use my webcam, I am feeling inspired to do a video review of all my mods from James, 5 in total. I was one of James's earliest customer, and he is stil my go to guy when I want something special.

Today I also got a mod that he repaired for me. I tried everything, the darn thing just wouldn't work. I pm'd James, and, after he said he'd like to take a hammer to this particular mod, he gave me some things to check on it. After all that, in the middle of pm'ing him that it would not work, I realized I didn't turn it on. Thought you'd all get a laugh out of that!!! I truly hope James thinks it's funny after all I have put him through...

OMG jewels you didn't turn it on? Wait I've done that, sorry...LOL! Also sorry to say while James was shut down I had to go elsewhere to get my APV fix. I added another VV box mod to my collection and have a Vmax on the way. All three of my KK mods are still working just fine, if I remember to turn them on! Now how long do I have to wait for your video?!?!

I have a question. I have a friend who wants to know if these mods will handle dual coils without cutting out. I don't use them, so I have no clue. James, somebody??

With the chipset I use, I've used triple coils without issues as well as the 1.7 ohm dual coils up to 6v to test and it didn't cut out. Although 1.7 ohm DC's at 6v...not tasty at all, like jet exhaust.

    Finished up a mod tonight:

Those clear cases sure make for a cool device, takes a while to make one perfect though. Let me know what you guys think.

Got a few more on the desk so there will be some videos/pictures to come!

    You will really like it.
The only fault I have with mine is it's a 14500 and not a 18650.

I'm fairly partial to my 14500 actually. I like the 18650's they have a little more depth to the hit I think, but I just can't give up that pocket-able property of the smaller units. I drag mine all over and drop it constantly so I'm always afraid to go wild and get something really expensive. I like that I can run it over and I'm only out a little bit of cash. If I ever got a provari or GG I'd probably end up having a silken pillow that it sat gently upon and never got used.
