Because the present design passes hot vapour in the opposite direction to the liquid flow, and in the same space, there are two detrimental effects: first that the air flow 'fights' the liquid flow and dries it, second this longish path causes some recondensation of the vapour inside the e-device. So i propose taking off the cartridge and reversing the atomiser. The mouthpiece is now the atomiser (with a short plastic tip attached). The liquid feed end of the atomiser is now on the other side. So the cartridge holder will be next with the battery last as usual. A small problem will be getting the positive power line past the cartridge (though the space the cartridge leaves for air flow could be used for a wire). I guess this is both a mod idea and a proposal for new designs of vaporiser. I know that changing cartridge would be a bit more hassle but the prospects for improved performance would seem good. |

It's a great idea. I was thinking about something like that myself... though I'd have no idea where to start. I also thought it would be nice to remove the batting style cartridge all together; and have an e-juice reservoir that can prime the atomizer with the push of a button. Then all of your puffs are driptastic. |

ceo - indeed, the small current cart capacity is another drawback. I am not sure if there is a good reason why the juice container doesnt extend further towards the air inlet hole - looks like it could be 5mm longer easily. Elsewhere I have suggested a piezoelectric transducer to send a mist to the heater element, and this would certainly work much better if 'on the other side' of the atomiser. A simple push nozzle as found on an inhaler would also work, perhaps better (certainly simpler) in which case a 'super button' that pressed both the electrical switch and fluid nozzle spray could be utilised. |

i have been thinking of a idea that would put the battery by the mouth, the atomizer in the middle and the juice at the very end. and a LED light on the barrel or around the barrel. the Battery would never flood and a cart could be made to be filled on both sides. though i would imagine the atomizer would have to be slightly changed. I was also considering this for a pipe mod. putting the atomizer in the pipe and the battery in the mouth part. allowing a larger atomizer and easy dripping.

Eyeball liquid level by holding tip up... ![]() Juice 'er up by holding tip down and squeezing briefly.... ![]() And if you're wondering how the wires get from the battery to the coil, I think the old fashioned way works best.... |

It shouldn't be difficult to arange the poistve power line without pylons - lol. I like the idea of using a piezo to get juice to the heater coil. It could be finely tuned in terms of flow rate and be activated concurrently with the heater coil. However a simple drip when needed would be simplest; perhpas by a simple squeezy bottle or push pump as you have suggested. A big advantage here, particularly of the piezo version, is that the juice is much more sealed and so far less likely to cause leakage of juice into mouth. ps: you are a real daemon with the CAD illustrator!

pps: why put the air inlets so far back, behind the juice container? That would complicate the juice container section, for no good purpose.
