Has anyone had any issues or fixes for heat expansion leaks for juicers both bottom fed or top fed?

I've left a juicer mod in the car on a sunny day a few times, and quickly learned not to do that again. If it were a bigger problem, you could remove the atty and put the silicone cap from a atty or carto over the connector to cap it off. Seems better than a tiny cork solution

OR, this bug could be seen as a feature. Use the residual heat from the coil to warm up the juice in an attached metal reservoir to stimulate the auto juicing a bit more. Simply vape a little, juice expands some and feeds easier, stop vaping and it cools down and contracts back into the reservoir. Kinda slick, thanks for bringing up!

I look at it as a benefit personally. My home made bottom fed deal kind of juices itself due to the thermal expansion, but like asdaq said... hot car BAD! If you are getting leaks where your joints are I would recommend giving them a coat of silicone caulk, or using some mighty putty to seal them up. I have had success with both approaches. Hot car is bad! I have a juicer passthrough I made for my work commute, so it stays in the car...I guess I'll just take it with me - thanks

You can make a valve like I did with silicone putty on my cast resin mod. Its like a reed valve that lets air in to the bottle to replace the juice and when you squeeze the bottle quickly it slaps shut pushing the juice up. If just sitting in the heat I found that it doesnt seal all the way and lets pressures equalize. You just have to make sure it is sitting upright.

You could also put a very tiny hole in the top of the bottle to relieve the pressure but has to be standing too.

I like the valve with a length of tubing attached so if any juice does escape it will be sucked back in when you release the bottle.

This hole seems quite tempting and good for auto feeding, but it also negates the convenient "sucking back the excess juice" quite crucial to bottom feeding. Squeezing a bottle is rather unprecise and clearing out a flood is important.
