    Exclamation New MODDER'S Catagories

Hello to all. As requested by many of our Members, to make the Modder's section of the Forum more user friendly to read and search, we have set up 4 new subcategories dealing with Atomizers, Batteries, Cartridges, and, Cosmetics.

To make searching this invaluable knowledge base everyone is building here with their posts, please choose and post in the correct category. And if it does not fit one of the new 4 then just post it in the regular Mod Category—

Thanks to all Members that have supported and all Members that will in the future

It's more confusing with 5 catagories than 1. The mod forum is not really such a hotbed of activity that it needed broken up, IMO.

+1, It's good idea to categorise the modders threads, IMHO

Someone should create a sticky and tell everyone about a possible health hazard when modding.
VG at 280c creates acrolein.Part link below for discussion.

Some of these mods which increase the voltage probably increase the atomizer temperature which looks like it was already around 220c +-

Videonut--Thank You for your concern but you might want to take a look at this latest report about any acrolein--it simply is not there according to this study just completed recently ----Sun

Personally, Being new I would like it to be broken up into even more specific categories. I really am a noob and it is hard for me to tell what is important and what I have no interest in. I would enjoy seeing what everyone does in creating their own looks in ecigs or cases as well as recipes for juice. Very informative forum.

That is a bit more reassuring than some of the discussions made me feel. I see that they tested at 300c. The question is what temps do our mods get to and when if at all does acrolein show up.

From the reading Atomizer is at 250 degrees max and acrolein is at 280 ----Sun

Are you saying that they tested at 250c or an atomizer can only hit 250c?
I saw that in the Mass Spec the input temp was 300c.
My thoughts are that a modded ecig at around 5volts puts out way more vapor so it must be getting much hotter. What if the atomizers hit 400c or even 500c? Would acrolein be produced then.
