Are the glass bottles at 3" too long to fit completely inside the battery holder?

Would glass bottle be moe or less desirable than plastic, or it just personal preference?

I would stick with plastic, myself. I drop stuff a lot.

As for being too long, you WANT the end of the pump to stick out so you can easily pump it and grab it to pull out, although the pump I used would have fit in the case entirely.

Hi, could some explain the wiring on this unit? Red goes to the center of the N size coaxial power switch, and the ground goes to momentary switch on one leg. Them out the second leg of the momentary switch to second leg on the coaxial power jack? Thanks

It's the typical battery box wiring scheme, nothing different there. Positive sides of batteries to push switch, push switch to center pole on connector, negative side of batteries to on/off slider, slider to outer ring of connector.

Thanks MoonMan for clarification on that.

MoonMan I noticed you use those little switches a lot in your mods. Any trouble with them? I used one for a manual m401 usb passthrough and it only lasted a couple of days. BTW in the middle of making one of your UPACs for a M401, thanks so much for the tips. Thinking about trying to use a syringe instead of a hose ... wish me luck.

I've used the switch twice now, and no problems yet. I believe they are rated at 500mA and 125v, so I would think they could handle double the amps at a way lower voltage - maybe the 5v from USB is too much? I've never ran them higher than what the 14500 batteries put out.

    Good luck!

I do not think it burnt out I think I man-handled it to death kinda sucked because I just epoxied it to a mod I was working on. Using a 3A version from Radio Hack on UPAC mod, thinking it feels a little sturdier.
