I have found the 701 to work well for me on the golf course replacing a real cigar. It gives good, consistent vapor in a place where I don't really want an overwhelming amount. It's pretty nice just putting the thing in my pocket when I'm ready to hit too.

Thank you so much for the pics and tips—exactly what I was looking for

It's great news that the cigar body is washable. I have one that has lasted me for months and that I would quite like to resurrect. Another has a hair-trigger switch that tends to self-activate even before I've puffed on it (so no gunk).

Is the cleaning protocol the same irrespective of the different kind of switch? Are you better off blowing them from the battery end?

Yep, all the same. Do lots of tapping and blowing with some rolled up paper towel in there to catch the water after.

Drip a bit of liquid in it right after, to prime it up. It will soak up 1/2 cart right off the bat too.

Cool find, I don't vape the e-cigars but it's nice to see the innards.

Vacuum operated e-cig batterys look exactly the same as the photos. A very simple switch.

Note about maintenance: I did a quick burn (paper clip in hole) on a relative new atty that started to draw a bit hard, and even though it was for less than 5 seconds a time, the second burn killed the atty. There was a lot of juice on it (it was gurgling, so getting rid of the surplus was part of the idea) but it all burned off in a big cloud of vapour and then—PUFF—the atty went cold

    So use with caution!
