Lucky,
I think the JS has the protection circuit built in,so theres no need for a protected battery. Not sure what would happen If you put a protected battery in, double protection or melt down.....

When I first got my 901 I liked the size and ability to be discreet with it, but after dealing with dead batteries I've been reading up here and considering making a mod. That is one fine looking mod

In theory an automatic switch would be a winner, but they all have drawbacks - so far.
My favorite, from a purely design elegance point of view was a mod posted here not so long ago, and sadly i forget the name of the modder. In short it was a little stroke of genius - to borrow the mechanism of a manual push button but make the atty itself the button by mounting on a lightly sprung spring. Technically, it is a manual - but with the feel of an automatic. The downside though is quite significant, if one forgot to switch it off, the atty could be operated too easily during transport.

Cisco, YOU DID NOT CROSS ANY LINE.......PERIOD!!!
There is not one patented idea out there that did not spark another idea, which also got patented by another.....so on and so on. Once a patent is filed, with full disclosure of its mechanics, anyone can come along and make a tiny modification to the existing patent and file for an entirely new patent in their name.
The reason for this law, is progress, for without it, we would still be using the stone wheel.
Please do not pay any attention to persons spouting out their opinions without knowing the patent laws. Personally, such opinions are well.....not even worth stating, as all it does is show ignorance on the subject of patents, and it hurts others feelings. Thoughtless opinions, that's all they are.....just thoughtless opinions. Ignore them please.
I think your mod looks absolutely amazing. It really does.
I wish you could get into describing the vaping, the throat hit, the taste of the juice with the different cart models on your mod, does it vape better than the Prodigy at 5v if yes why? if no why? Is it a juice hog etc. vs other e-cigs or mods etc.
Would you kindly post that type of info. I am truly interested in the results. And if you are going to be kind enough to make a few for people, what would be the cost? Perhaps you would PM me. It's just that you stated that your up the whazoo with PM & I'm afraid that my PM would get lost in the crow.
Thank you for making such a unique model......
I JUST LOVE LITES!

Yes Aspen, that truly was nice of you.
Sorry, I had not read beyond Ciscos post to see yours, got distracted and when I came back I just hit the quote button & posted.
