ultrafire sizes

not really sure where to put this but
i bought some ultrafires here in japan, they have the PCB but their size is 33mm, they work perfectly no probs
now i wanted some more and DX had them for less than 5$ they seemed the same but what i got was a PCB ultrafire that is 36mm in length

the outer rapping is a bit different too, and the - side has a gloden plate with ultrafire written in green on the ones i bought here whereas the ones from DX have a silver plate with the ultrafire just engraved.

the DXs look cheaper and are lol. i didnt think they would copy a copy brand

thing is the ones i got from DX might be to big to fit in the SD clone im making

Were the ones you got in Japan protected? I think 3mm is about the size that the extra circuitry for the overcharge/undercharge protection takes up.

yup. the jp ones are protected as well
had a lok on DX seems the trustfire 3.6v 880Mah PCB are the same size as the ones i got here.
