Yeah Chef! You've done it again.
I used to have this problem until I started buying the Bestecig attys. Haven't had to deal with this issue since. But I will remember this tip if I do have this prob again. Thanks!

    Great Job breakfastchef!

I have been doing it with paper clips (bend & cut a small piece for a quick test or confirmation, then if it is the case I just pull the center post out a hair and that fixes it), so the staples should be thinner so thats a big plus!

Just everyone who is doing this be sure to Not to Overtighten It, just make Contact so it works, or you will keep sinking the center contact in further & further.

I still pull all my center contacts and don't have any issues, but now there is another option for everyone, so take your choice!

I suggest trying this with copper or brass wire instead of a steel staple. I'm concerned about wear on the fitting and it seems that copper or brass would make an even better connection with less wear.

This didn't fix any of mine (3) but I think they were all trash to begin with. Great idea though, do you suppose this would also work for those USB passthrough connection problems?

Wow, crazy! Just finished an 801 mod and it wasn't working correctly. I was about to chuck it in frustration until I ran into this thread. Now it works great. Thank you!
