I'd say #1 let off the button a second before your done taking a drag, to clear the chamber of vapor, or you will get condensation build up. And this will happen.
Or #2 your wick is so loose your over wicking, (loose mesh wrap)
If your liquid is real thin, try more mesh.

I am having trouble with liquid coming out of the air holes. The wick is definately plugging the hole into the tank and the build up seems to be around that area anyways. Any ideas?

Shorting out, when you tighten the pos screw, it's pulling the wire into the wick so tight it's shorting. You want the whole coil to glow almost instantly. Try releasing some tension on the wire to the wick.

I'm always having my top wrap glow at the positive post(hot spot?). I think its whats giving me the burnt taste, just don't know how to improve it.

I couldn't stand not setting up the 2 units I got till the weekend! Last night I stayed up late and did the assembly. I have vaped one of them all day today and it is absolutely amazing! No dry hits, no burnt flavor... Just pure sweetness!

I set up both on the 3 mil top and they are absolutely amazing at 3.7 volts! I made a few alterations from the original setup. I drilled out the top of the fuming chamber to a full 1/8" and used shrink tube around a larger wick (top and bottom) and i drilled out the nylon 6-32 screws to the positive post so that they act as just a solid spacer to the brass connection under the platform. Other than that the machining is great and it is a very well designed unit.
These thing svape my 100% Vg with absolutely no problem...
Dan I could not be a happier camper! With these 2 @ 3.7V and the 2 V3s @ 5-6V I am in vape heaven! Thanks for all that you have done here man!

LEXI60 Thanks!!! I cleaned everything out and let off the button to make sure I clear it all after each draw and bam it is working much better. I think I have most of the kinks worked out. Ultimately you just cant draw and draw like you would a carto. You have to take nice steady draws and not abuse it.

You are right....and that's another thing that will cause flooding. The wick will do most of the work getting the juice to the coil. A steady draw...not real hard...is all you need. You are just trying to move the air more or less.

Use a tooth pick and move the coil around and re test fire dry. The whole coil should glow and when wet it should not glow. Sounds like a short between the SS and kanthal.

I would suggest a thicker juice, I am using 70/30 pg/vg with 400 and occasinally it goes dry, but I use the "cover hole suck method" and it re-saturates the wick. If your juice is thin, and you inhale strongly you will flood the chamber and it will leak out the hole.

Wow! I think I might need to lower my nic strength. Been at 36 mg for 2 years. I seem to be absorbing more nic with this thing. Anyone else notice this?

I have sturm's g-tank and I notice that wicking performance is pretty crappy until the tank is about halfway spent, dry hits after one or two draws. But once its about halfway it wicks beautifully. Anyone having this with the gtus? I'm using 40vg and I think I'm using 400mesh

Got mine working beautifully now. Put some TVR French Vanilla in there and it tastes like a fresh carto all the time. Wonderful. Nice easy draw. don't overfill the tank and don't chain vape it.

Even though I want my G-Tank-US now, I'm kinda glad the other genesis atty newbs are posting their problems and getting help from the vets before I have a chance to screw it up for myself. Lots of good info here. Thanks, all!
