Thanks Dan, I did the washing. I did not take the O ring off but I did wash it. SOP in mechanics is to wet the O ring and I did, maybe that was my mistake but even the other tank dry would not stay on. Anyway the three drops of silicone worked and it is vaping good. The O ring will probably mold itself and begin to hold.

I'm having problems getting a good hit. With a rare unharsh hit, you can tell that the flavor potential is amazing, but little to no vapor.

Almost all my hits are harsh and throat searing. The coil is stable 1.8 ohms according to my Darwin.

I'm using 32aw Kanthal and 400 mesh. I've tried 100pg liquid with little results.

I haven't been able to get a mesh wider than 14mm, cut on the bias, to fit through the top cap and into the juice tank.

The juice is coming into the combustion chamber because it's leaking from the single air intake hole. Just not getting on the coil.

Could people who are having success list the mesh dimensions you are using?

I did my first wick 30mm x 14mm #400 vaping 80 % VG on 2.8 ohms at 4.7v it is vaping great. As it breaks in I will increase the v.

I have a Line...I"m waiting for a GTUS , but I have found tinkering with the wick with a tooth pick and pure PG dripped directly on the coil will get the suction going in the wick. Plus you have to break in a new coil as well usually about a tank full or so.

If it is leaking from the air hole it could be flooding....

I thew all my metal parts in an ultrasonic cleaner and I washed the o-ring with dish soap to remove the oil. My tank has only popped off twice and that was because I was being lazy about wiping the o-ring and tank opening. I found that not filling the tank to the top also helps.

The entire coil must rest snuggly against the wick. It's the heat of the wet coil wire that vaporizes the juice. The coil has to get wet from the wick.

At what voltage? I found that a hash hit is common in a 1) a short (hot spot), 2) low ohms and high voltage, 3) dry wick
Now did you wrap around a paper clip or 24 gauge needle? so there is a hole in the middle of the wick?
    Let me know...

8 wraps 32awg 2.7 ohms, all glowing no shorts..

Have been vaping this hard for over an hour. I do double draw inhales and have had no dry hits at 4.7 volts. Got to get used to the weight, this thing is heavy and I am on the 3ml. Got to make a small SS cube VV/PT for it so it won't fall over. I like it!!!
    Thanks Dan your the man...

The only issue im really encountering is a leaking issue. Flooding majorly. User error of course The tank is awesome! Im getting excellent vapor out of my 1.7 wrap though.
