Genisis / Kronos Update

As it seems we're not allowed to discuss the LV / Kronos Co-op itself here, I thought I'd remind people about the German forum that is hosting the project- http://www.e-rauchen-forum.de.
Tai Pan has an update thread for the various projects, which is called (in english) Water Levels. It's found in the 'We Build Together II' section of the Craft Board. I think you may have to register to access it, and I found Google toolbar auto-translate very useful in doing that.
The Water Level thread doesn't get any more updates than we had, but there is a new posting today :

Hier die letzten Wasserstandsmeldungen für dieses Jahr.

Projekt DigiSens
Wir sind in der Auslieferung. Alle Probleme sind behoben und es geht ums Bauen. Das ist sehr viel komplizierter als geplant. Ich hoffe im Januar alles raus zu haben. Bei allen Beteiligten bedanke ich mich für die Engelsgeduld. Wir sind wohl alle froh wenn dieses Projekt zu einem Ende kommt.

Projest Design:
We are in the Delivery phase. All Problems are solved and we turned to the building phase.
That turned out more complicated as planned. I hope to have everything shipped by the end of January. I would like to thank everyone for their patience. We all will be glad when this project is completed.

Genisis
Bei dem Genisis hatten wir gewaltige Qualitätsprobleme. Der Hersteller hatte mehrmals Teile geliefert, die unseren Qualitätsansprüchen nicht genügten. Er musste neu machen und die letzten Teile kamen im Dezember. Leider war unser Monteur, es macht nur Einer, krank und konnte nichts machen. Jetzt ist er wieder fit und montiert. Da es sich hier um eine große Stückzahl handelt, wird es bis Ende Januar dauern, bis alle Genisis ausgeliefert sind.

Genesis:

Box Kronos
Diese Box war eine komplette Neuentwicklung. Wir haben die Platinen fertig und das Material ist bei mir. Leider waren die Prototypen in unseren Augen Schrott. Wir haben uns entschlossen den Hersteller zu wechseln und die Box im Druckgussverfahren herzustellen. Dazu muss erst ein Werkzeug gemacht werden. Die Zeichnungen dazu bekomme ich heute.

Box Kronos

Aufträge Genisis und Box Kronos
Wer nur Genisis bestellt hat bekommt diese bis Ende Januar spätestens.
Wer Genisis und Kronos bestellt hat bekommt eine Teillieferung des Genisis mit dem bestellten Material und später die Box.
Wer bei der Kronos aussteigen möchte kann das tun. Der Betrag wird dann erstattet.

Orders for Genisis and Box Kronos

Ich kann kein Kantahl und keine Glasfaser mehr sehen. Wir haben nicht ansatzweise mit dieser Flut an Bestellungen gerechnet. In diesem Bereich haben wir unserer Meinung nach genug getan und werden uns von dieser Last befreien. Daher werde ich den Shop von meiner Seite im Januar schließen.

Project Shop

The updated news should ease a few minds...think the big stink was that the pics for the Kronos that were promised a few weeks ago did not materialize and no responses were given why...the new pressure casting process appears to be the reason. OK I'll buy that and am still gonna hold on to my order.

Uwe, hope all is well and appreciate the efforts but in toward this project....even though things are not quit on schedule there are still folks here willing to wait and trust you will pull through in the end.
