    Soldering the spring end works great also but you will need to cut 1-1/2 turns or so off the spring to allow room for the solder ball. I did one with out cutting the spring and the battery was so tight it put to much pressure on the pcb that the switch wouldn't work properly. The battery is already a pretty tight fit.

    Yea, I know what you mean, I have a box mod that I had to shorten the spring on too.

    I was thinking to just solder the wire on the end of coil of the spring, so it can't enter the hole in the battery.

    Thats a nice shot and a great way to do it but if the battery spins at all when threading on the end cap it could still get caught up on the spring and twist things around. Probably could sand it down and make it smooth with no sharp edges to catch on the battery holes.

    It might never happen but its better to cover all the bases...

    I am getting about 2 - 2-1/2 times the vape then a regular battery and its pretty consistant right up till charge time.
