Nice, you really can't go wrong with the 18500 battery, they last me 12 hours plus @ 1600 mAh.

Warp - is the 9v box bigger than the 2xAA one ?

I'm wondering if the AA box could work if cut out the divider.

How did you do the battery contacts?

And you can plug in a variety of atty types

What are your thoughts on the character of the atty types that you currently have, such as 901, 801 ...? It will be interesting to hear because the battery will be exactly the same.

    Thank you cddz
Yes 18500 are the sh_ _, and in my case even more so, since i had a notebook battery that was sitting in my closet for about 6 years , pried it open and voila, 8 18500 protected came out, and the were still holding around 3.8V each after 5-6 years of sitting around!!

Where were you when i posted the same box on the PVMA thread kina?

No the 2AA box will not fit a 18500 by no means, actually the 9V box cover needs to be pushed hard so it closes on that big boy, but still works.
The work needed for the connections inside was minimal, unfortunately you cant see the (black) cable running from the + 0V terminal to the switch, since the box itself is black and my pic is crappy.
On the - side it was a breeze also, since the RCA jack has a long flat washer it extends to the bottom of the battery and needs no wires!

I guess i posted way 2 much stuff on that PVMA thread and it will take time for people to see through all of the stuff. Still a lot of fun and hoping it will really help a lot of people.

kina, i think it is all about personal taste or even moods, i believe that both 801 and 901 are great vapers, 401...i'm not so sure, i personally think it lacks compared to the others. All i can say is i love changing several times during the day to different power sources and attys, it makes everything more fun.

Hey Warp....where di you get that battery box? I've searched for 9v battery boxes and not much luck.

    thanks
Cheese graters could also be marketed and sold as sponge ruiners. Think about it.
