    Default CR2 Dimensions?

Does anyone have the UltraFire Brand CR2 dimensions down to the thousandths (width and length) ? They list a dimension on the deal extreme site, but i have noticed these are not very accurate. Just wondering if anyone had them and a micrometer or digital caliper to measure them. Thanks!

    Breakfastchef,
You don't happen to have that measurement down to the thousandths do you? I have some Cr2's that i measured, but they are energizers and they seem to vary a bit by brand, so i wanted to check the measurements on other brands. I have some ordered up from deal extreme, but you know how long that can take.

    Thanks again,

    David

1 3/32 long tip to tip
    19/32 wide

or 27.2mm long tip to tip
    15.36 mm wide.

I'm eyeballing it on a ruler for the inches, the mm comes from the product page on dealextreme. I would hope they don't vary much, but this is an inexpensive item from DX so who knows....I think the protected cells would vary more since they have a PCB shrinkwrapped to them.

Cheese graters could also be marketed and sold as sponge ruiners. Think about it.

Sorry, David, I am only using a calipers graduated in inches and transferring the measurement to a metric rule.

No problem, i appreciate the effort! Yeah, i don't trust the specs at deal extreme, i've received batteries from them that measure a full mm different then what they claim. Such is the nature of the beast!

Much appreciated Cisco!! My energizer CR2's measure .598 so we are right in the ball park between brands.
