Kanthal A1 Supplier Question

What do you guys think about the kanthal sold on tankecigs? I have been looking around for kanthal and this seems to be a steal. Im wanting to see if anyone has bought from them and how it went. To me it just seems too good to be true (had way to many "too good to be true" occasions which werent.) So chime in guys lemme know what you think.

Whats to good to be true? The last time I bought it on Ebay I paid $4.75 for 75' free shipping. Keep checking ebay and you will find a better price. Now if you are in a hurry, buy it. Seems there has been a run on A 1 kanthal 32g so it is not available all the time.

Well from my lastest shopping around it was the best price ive seen. I was looking on ebay last night and everything is much more expensive.

Yeah im probably going to get this because i only have like 6in of wire left. And its crappy wire i got from a hobby store that doesnt state what guage it is. I have guessed its around 36 to 38 because like 6 wraps gives me around 1.4ohm. BTW nichrome not kanthal.

At least one less wrap for the same ohms on a coil, better for tight spaces.

This sounds great for me cause im using a vivi nova so i need to get that in that tiny little atty head. Thats why im having such a problem with my wire right now because i have to get so many wraps then the wires are touching the sides...

Whats the difference on ohm/ft between like AWG nichrome vs. kanthal

I don't like the metal flavor nichrome and haven't used it in over a year. I also am using the vivi nova with cotton wick and that is why I ordered this 33g.
Wick materials. Safe vs dangerous.

I use 33ga Kanthal A, and 5 wraps gives me a 2.5ohm coil.
(btw, I love how knowing that means I can recreate an identical coil every single time!)
