I used the silver trustfire 3.7v, bu they outoput 4.2 when fully charged and the lowest they go is 3.5 when they cut out cause of the PCB. It is so much better then the reg 510 batteries which are only 3.2 V although most ppl don't realize this on the bottom of all the starter kits it says 3.0-3.2 V batterry. I mnust say with the added voltage it is nice I have tried 5V and and 6 V aswell and find them a little too hot and they destroy shbitty atomizers if not used correctly although it is common practice to use a reg e cig and to hit tyhe 5V onyl every 30 seconds or so, but this mod I like it is consistent thick clouds of vapor as you can see from the pics how thick the vapor is before it is inhaled. It is a huge cloud when exhaled I am finally getting some satifaction again as I have gone back to about 5 analogs a day since my birthday when I was smoking cuase I was partying and hadnt got my parts for my mod yet.
Anyways there trustfire 14500 3.7 from focalprice.com
Free Shipping. Wicked.

My 510 batteries must have been defective, then, because they ALL charged to 4v...still do, for that matter.

All Li-ion batteries freshly charged are around 4.2v , and they go down to 3.6-3.7 rather fast.
That is how all are rated including the 510.

I know, Warp... I was trying to call shenanigans without actually saying "I call shenanigans"...

Sorry for my Shenanigans guys, I was just reading the info on the bottom of my 510 starter kit. Maybe it says 3.2-3.0 because its range is 4.2 to 2.7 so, that is probabably an aprrox average of what it drops too. I just notice heavier vapor, more consistent hits and thicker vapor as can be seen in the pics, that is a pg solution, with a small amount of VG that I am vaping marlboro or RY4.
I plan on making a 5 V mod bopx next and I am thinking of using two 14500s instead of the 3 V cr2's or the ones that look like half of an 18500, I have the transitors from T.I. well they are on the way.
Thanks for checking out my mod.
