Hasent really been an issue since I add a little solder to the pads that touch the case - NOT much just a little - just to freshen things up

I have a question for you though. At one point in the video you mention the negative connection being the rim inside the case and that the torch cuts out from time to time. I've noticed this happening with mine as well. Is this still a problem with this mod? Your commentary seems to cut out as you're explaining that bit.

Cheers madog! Rewatching the video I see that you do explain that. Too much info to take in at once

I have notice a few of the flashlights come with like a spring inside now -
Hitting these pads with more solder helps to keep the PCB in the case also.

I would like to ask, if I may: My son bought a DX flashlight which would be perfect for a first test mode when my first battery dies, but it runs on 3xAAA like this: It seems to me one of the big bad strong high mah batteries should be of the same size as the 3xAAA thingy, but I do not want to buy one after one just to try. Could you help me with this? Which of the big batteries has the same size?

Any flashlight that uses the 3 AAA battery thingy can use the PVC pipe and dual cr2 batteries - AWESOME - Battery life and vap'in strength. One cr123 is a little to short to replace the battery pack - the Diameter is the same as cr2's so you could just use some type of metallic spacer or stretch the springs to take up the room. Yes you all heard me right a single CR123 will work instead of the 2 cr2's and you will have a big ole battery at 3.7 volts. Instead of cranking the voltage up to 6.3 as in the original magnum mod -
However i believe - IMHO - the higher voltage works much better than a unit at 3.7 volts - I am on over 2 months with the same atomizer -
    With
NO CLEANING - Running at 6.3 volts
I just confirmed that to use a cr123 works
you have to use the lower pressure pvc pipe (thinner wall)
but the springs will stretch far enough to take up the space.

SO know you have to different voltage options with the same mod.

Just find a flashlight that uses AA and use a 14500 cell battery. The 14500 is the same size as AA and may even fit in that flashlight you posted. I ordered the Romisen silver light and a CR123A. Got a pipe cutter for it all ready to go. Soon as it gets here I'll start modding. I've already got 2 husky conversions done in 2 different sizes. The easiest flashlight to mod that I've done is the small husky that I have posted pictures of.
