Well I picked up a few of these awhile back. I liked the 801 and 901 as they aren't too big. The 510 on the otherhand are rather large. I made an 801 to 510 adapter so I could use an 801 atty on my 510 detonator mod. I found a nice trick to make the adapters smaller is to use a dremel or other cutting tool to cut away some of the backend of you 2 connectors. Then solder them together and you end up with a rather small adapter if done correctly. I used 2 of the 510 connectors for making a couple of mini mag mods for my dad and step mom. they bent rather easy when trying to press them in place but once again if you cut the backend off with a dremel except this time leave the center pin sticking out it works great as the positive battery connector. if anyone is interested in seeing the smaller 801 adapter please send me a PM and I will upload some instructional photos.

Doh! You just helped me take out a weak spot in a mod I working on. It's one of those "Why didn't I see that earlier." moments. Thanks.

I'll do that quite a bit when making adapters too, the tricky part is making sure you cut both of them perfectly straight - it can be a bit tough freehand with a dremel.

Nope, only have 801s and 401s left now, all the others are gone and I'm closing shop once the 801s and 401s are gone too.

Ok, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this but: Has anyone heard from Nerf lately? I sent him a payment early last week for a bunch of 401 connectors. He said he was in the middle of moving and wouldn't be able to ship them out until Monday. Well, Monday has come and gone and I still have not heard a thing about them. I have pm'd him a couple of times since - giving him the benefit of the doubt. But alas, I have not received any communication from him concerning this.
Have I just been taken for a ride?
It seemed that he had been very trustworthy by all of the other people that had done business with him. Is this like Nerf? He was very prompt with his communication before the payment - after the payment? Nada.
I don't want to bad mouth him, he seems like a good business person, but what do I do? I don't know if he sent them or not.
    What would you do?

    Default Final Update

Received package of connectors from Nerf today. Yippee!! To my wonderful surprise - there were definitely more connectors in there, than what I had ordered - lots more!! As well as a few of the connectors already had wires soldered on them. Nice. I didn't realize that the wires were so small. No offense to the men - but I'm thankful that I have little woman hands to work with this stuff.
All in all - I want to thank Nerf for taking care of me as a customer, and I hope that the weather and the move gets better for him as time goes on. Thanks Nerf.

Nerf, is there a possibility you can make an adapter to fit a 510 battery to a M602 atty? I would love to try my M602 series atty at higher voltages (by attaching it to my SB)... =)
    Arsenal: M602, DSE-901, eGo, 3.7v 2AA boxmod, 5v 3AA boxmod, Provari and extension caps
