It never comes loose at all.... the key is to wrap plenty of tape around the fitting. Just enough so you can squash the case on it. Sort of like Teflon tape around a pipe thread. I can yank on my atomizer... it's not going any where. You can use many other methods of securing it... I choose a method I thought that would be cheap, viable, and flexible for most people. However many methods will work fine.... if you use something permanent make sure you use a atomizer + cartridge to make sure it's aligned. And as you stated in the video about the rocker switch... you can add a push button switch & use the rocker switch as a master if you wanted to.(for safety) Also like you stated in the video about the connector... you can easily use different power sources... including a mega battery if you went camping or whatever. BTW - Nice video CNubel! Thanks for the props.

Great info.... I really like the idea of putting a pressure switch in and using the rocker switch as a safty. The rocker switch is going to bite me in the ass sooner or later. Ii'll try the tape method if I make another...and I probably will because its so easy. And i'm glad you liked the video. I was apprehensive making it as this is your process and not mine. But for something I did off the top of my head, it came out pretty well.

Oh, BTW, another e-cig forum may be interested in having this mod posted on thier site. Is it ok if I cut and paste your step by step and post it on the other forum? You will get all the credit of course.

I added a pressure switch to the mod this evening. I learned a few things about plastics and how they crack. Its ugly, but the switch is in securely and it works. But that’s what first mods are for...you learn a few things that you don't do, or do differently, on the second mod. However, I'm a lot more comfortable with the ugly pressure switch in place. It doesn't matter if I leave the rocker switch on accidentally now as it is now just a safety switch.

Next come experiments with adding LED's. But I need to do a little reading before I add those.

You should be able to drill/burn/cut through the plastic without much issue. Just need to be carefull how you add the switch... May want to use soft rubber washer & be light on the torque. Just about any switch will work, depending on the size. You can even find switches with LEDs. A good place for a small tactile switch might be where the key chuck was... might take some finesse to get it placed. It looks like it would be a good hold & easy on the hands.

I thought about that after I had installed the pressure switch. Next mod i'm putting it there.

So essentially the dremel tool doesn't matter, If one gets a 5 volt, 1 amp wall power supply, you could just wire the output of that power supply into a switch, in whatever housing you wanted to. Would that be accurate?

I have already built a working Nicostick...something like this is my next project.

Many people are using wallwart USB power supplies to do just that via passthroughs, yes.
