    Default Bartelby or Detonator?

So I'm thinking of getting either a 3.7v or a 5v mod for when I'm out and about, and I don't want to spend too much. I've read really good things about the bartelby, but also very good things about a 510 atty running at 5 volts. Since that's what I'll be using. Which one would everyone recommend?

The Bartleby has held up really well for me, short of the occassional leakage (which I bet is my fault).

so the bartelby is no good for dripping then? cause my stock 510 leaks all the time. i wouldn't want to damage anything inside the box of the bartelby

My Bartleby works just fine, the only leaking I experience is when I overfill a cartridge, and that usually comes out the hole in at the end of the cartridge. I love the Bartleby, I wished I would have seen it before I bought all these 510s...lol.
    Cheer Up! It'll get worse.

I really like my Bartelby. I have it in 510 and it leaks a bit but so does my Joye 510. I have learned not to drip so much. 4 or 5 drops is all it takes to keep it from leaking. I have also had a problem with the switch, but I've contacted Cybervex and he says that he'll replace the switch for me. Thats good service if you ask me.

And don't worry...a little leakage won't hurt anything inside the box. The electronics are very well protected.

I highly recomend the Bartelby for an inexpensive 3.7 mod. BTW, the Bartelby does not opperate at any higher voltage than 3.7. If you're looking for a 5 or 6 volt mod, you'll have to look at something else.

That's why I was asking whether I should get this or a 5v mod. What does everyone prefer?

i prefer my 6v flashlight mod...

but if i were buying i think i'd buy a bartelby simply for the charging and pass thru features.

get a CHEAP 5v passthru (one w/o batterys) if you want to try HV paving on the cheap. i think i payed $10 for my 5v passthru. but a word of caution,, once you go HV you may never be satisfied by lower voltage options.... after getting my batts in for my 6v flashlight mod i put my 5v pass thru away haven't seen it in a week.... HV may spoil you.
