After all the horror stories I've heard with unprotected batteries, I think I'll be avoiding them like the plague. But I think you're right bigozone, I'm probably better off sticking with just one battery for now. That is, until I get some electrical know how

hey, that circut board out of the usb charger could be used to make a pv that can be PT`d and vaped or vaped on a battery in a box mod. yeah itt would take awhile to charge, about 4-6 hours, but i have to sit aroud that much or more a day anyway. i`m just saying i am working on useing the dse 901 usb battery charger i got to do this. i got side tracked with car cig plugs for usb PTs, untill i found one that is hehehe a pt for a car cig plug, ie: the plug has a place to plug in a second car cig plug if you need two power outlets. the one i got has a cover that is locked so its going to mak a perfect battery lid. and yeah i`m a SD so i`ll use 16340 batts, and they fit the plug female hole with a little room to put the circut board from my dse 901 batt charger and a switch. work in progress, going to do a 16340 charge with the board and aligator clips and power supply later today.

I just wanted to say thanks Retard-o-Bot. Ive been looking for a nice and easy first time mod to do and after seeing your 510 pt mod I had to try it. I already had everything I needed to attempt it but I only had a 801 usb charger. So I did exactly what you did but replaced the battery connection with a 801 atty connection from a dead 801 batt. This thing works like a charm and was fairly quick to make. The only thing Im having problem with is the 801 atty connector isnt a tight fit in the body of the charger. Once it is put together it turns as I screw an atty or adaptor on. Other than that Im kinda proud if it. Thanks!

A little dab of epoxy may help that.
