901 usb charger to passthu conversion?

I was thinking about taking about apart a 901 usb charger and converting it into a manual passthru. Probably going to give it a shot at the end of the week. Only thing I'm missing right now is some solder.

I'm hoping it'll look half decent when I'm done.

Has anyone done this before? If so, any tips?

you can use any USB cord with a male A connector. Why destroy your charger? It may come in handy some day when a wall outlet is not an option. I found one at the Dollar Tree.

the USB charger will have a female end inside it that connects to a battery, you would need a male end to connect to an atomizer.

If you look at the picture... you'll see that I have the switch and the male adapter.

So... I just made a manual passthru with an old usb wire and its great...

for the connector I use a needle attachment to blow up basketballs, I drill out the center and push a 14 awg wire through it. I use solid wire for wiring a house.
