    here is a car adapter that i made with a little technical help from our friend madog. ive been making power couplings out of valvestems. notice the sleek ergonomic electrical tape handle! lol

    12V directly ??? ....guess not.
    what kind of resistor or step down regulator has it?

    This looks exactly like the 5v car to usb adapter that came with my GPS unit! Hmmmm.....

    very simple, uses one of these babys. kinda tricky to get it to all fit in the damn thing though

    Interesting mod Davey .... So do you have a manual switch in there somewhere?
    I like the idea of the 5volt resistor, simple and effective.

    yes, pushbutton switch right by the mouthpiece. the switch is black so it blends well
