Is there really any reason for yet more snide remarks ?? The car converter is rated to 2A, and the wall one at 500 mA, and all of them come from China anyway. USB chargers are the standard now for new cell phones and they will become more common and less expensive than this. If you want to spend $30 for the same thing then go for it. The lady said she was not able to afford an atomizer--an if you buy it from the drugstore and it burns up when you are using it for something it wasn't designed for, you can return it easily.

PLUS... it is a lot better than risking a port on your new Netbook.

Thank you Vslim. I'm not used to having to be so cautious w/money but between his layoff and my business having a big slow-down...
I did get a USB charger with the kit from Katy, and the car adapter I had for my cell phone seems to work fine for charging. A USB passthrough, though, sounds like it would save a great deal on replacement batteries while increasing the vapor. Bestecig has them for $10 but high shipping for just a couple items so I had a plan where that would be my second purchase, stocking up on atomizers at the same time.

Sunshyn, been reading this thread and understand exactly where you are coming from where money is concerned. I've attached a wiring diagram for your hubby of a usb mod i made today. Works great, good vapor production, very easy draw. The only thing is it uses a battery connection from a dead battery. If you don't have a dead battery madog made a connector from a tire valve. Also Nicowolf found a part at Radioshack that could work too with some modding.

Thanks UkUsa. I printed it for him. I already showed him Madog's tire valve video. He found it very informative. I'll show him the rest when he gets some spare time.

I figured unemployment meant more free time, but the temp work has got him driving 1.5-2 hours each way. Between that, very early hours, and never knowing if there'll be work or not, he hasn't had the time or energy to start anything. On the good side, money hasn't gotten as tight as we'd figured it would be. In fact, I just ordered the spare atomizers so I don't have to be panicked about suddenly not having an ecig.
