Yes sir... Got a prototype almost done using this exact concept, inspired by a simple old Zippo. Zippo wick has a copper wire in it that transfers heat into the batting and helps vaporize and draw fluid to the flame. The whole thing is of course, as you pointed out, more efficient by reversing the location and utilizing the airflow created from drawing on the device.

Another prototype I've got working uses a venturi tube and a carburator jet-type device plus a *float bowl* `ish type container to hold liquid. The jet atomizes the liquid and passes it through a home-spun 40guage NiCr (80/20) screen that is heated from an electrical source.

I have not had much time free recently but did some investigating of mosfets today and have come up with something interesting; but more on that later ...

In brief, I've come up with a switchless design - autmatic bit not air pressure or noise; just pick it up and vape, no switch to push or contacts to touch ...

Quite fascinated by the bubble jet concept recently; and using valves in various ways ...

Boldness and perseverance will get results (occasionally)
