Default 510 Battery Connector - DIY parts?

What parts are used in building your own 510 battery-to-atty connectors?

The easiest way is to pay a visit to Madvapes.com and get the genuine connectors. Connectors

I already have some of theirs. I LIKE to build stuff. Isn't there an audio connector at Radio Shack that will work?

No, those were threads for 801 and 901 connectors before the connectors became widely available.

If you really want to, MadVapes has a HowTo section that includes instructions for making your own 510 connectors out of bronze shoulder bushings. I did a quick Google for the bushings, and they cost more than real battery connectors though.

I cut the ends off dead 510 batteries or get adapters like 801 battery to 510 atty and use it as a mod connector.
I have no idea why someone came up with 7mm by 0.5mm for an e-cig.

What else uses that thread? I checked and I couldn't find anything.

Yeah - I found out the same thing. I guess I will let MadVapes do the work - they are a GREAT company to deal with anyway.

The 401 uses the same threads. But, they are in reverse. ie. A 401 atty connector is the 510 battery connector.

Could you just hook up a 401 atty and a 510 atty and vape off either end?
