Blings are wicked, I love em. Really cold though, so they don't work great with my favorite Riskee. No vapor at all... so here's a rundown on replacing that coil. I've done several generic cigars as well. The innards are almost identical, but a bit different atomizer in a silicon sleeve.
Rings pull off without too much effort. Shown isan aluminum rod threaded for a bit more leverage towiggle it out
Here's the LED. There's also a very thin ground wire thatwas soldered to the end ring
The ring on the other side comes off the same way
An aluminum rod with a hole drilled in the end makes
a great press tool. The hole clears the atomizer bridge. All the guts
come right out the LED end. I used a drill press to press with. A heat
gun helps if it's a bit sticky
Charred with crusty stuff
Hard to see, but the LED is on, just testing, yep it still works :-)
Atomizer innards yanked out of it's shell
wire mesh peeled off carefully
teeny leads left there, have to replace those
The coil removed, and the bottom mesh pad
The old coil
New coil wire with nice long leads.acid core first, to get the silver to stickto the nichromeThe white wick stuff is "fire wick" silica
Wound up new wick, 3.3 ohms
(instead of 4.3 factory Ruyan, too cold)
Sorry it's fuzzy - it's trimmed up, and in there though
