    I have built a number of mods that utilise either 3 or 4 AAA, AA, and "C" cells. I have experimented with both normal alkaline disposable batteries (1.5 volt) and re-chargeable NiMh (1.2 volt) versions.All mods have provided better, more consistant and longer lasting use than standard batteries. However I have found that 4 NiMh batteries (of all sizes), allthough only providing 4.8 volts (in series) do have a high liklehood of burning out atomizers, especially if fluid levels are not kept fully topped up. 4 disposable alkaline batteries on the other hand, allthough providing 6 volts are a lot more forgiving to atomisers.
    In conclusion;

    Disposable batteries.......4 in series giving 6 volts O/K.

    Rechageable batteries....3 in series giving 3.6 volts much safer.

    So was that last pic taken after your soldering iron fell over and caught your desk on fire? That is some serious vapor, nice job!

    Cheese graters could also be marketed and sold as sponge ruiners. Think about it.

    Right On Mod!
    I may still be an Addict, but at least I am no longer dying for a cigarette.
