    Default From Anon Beta Tester

Tim, this is really a great PV, I'm so proud you finally produced the MAKO and let me express big thanks to your choosing me as a tester.

It's very lighter and smaller than I expected. The weight of the Midi and the Maksi are approx 55g and 65g.

Also, the Mako's diameter is only 1mm smaller but it fits a hand more comfortable than the figure speaks. I guess it's achieved by combination with the lighter weight.

As to the switch and it's locking system, it perfectly works smoothly. This is my first tail switch PV, but I naturally use it as I've long been using it. It's very simple and it means reliable and unbreakable.

I love the MAKO especially about its looking. It reminds me "the simple is the best". Nothing added, nothing eliminated, just wearing the beauty and the smartness like the shape of cigars. I, as a cigar smoker, guess it's the cyber cigar :-)

My only regret is that the tester set doesn't contain the protected CR2 3V and the length of the Maksi does not fit with AW's 14670. I really want the protected CR2, so please let me buy when you stock it.

In conclusion... I will, I must buy another MAKO of full production after it's on sale!!!
I therefore would like you to keep 1 full set of the matte black MAKO with 5V option for me before it's sold out. Could you do me a favour?

    Default E-Pipemans written review...

Hi folks - back again! Time for my final judgement on the minno/midi/maksi pre-production model using an 801 adapter.

    EXCELLENT!

A very flexible device - the range of sizes means that it's easy to use on any occasion. Mine came in a handy black carrying tin that fits in the pocket neatly - so you don't have to chose which size you want until you reach your destination. It delivers consistently smooth vapour and I have not had any issues with misfiring switch etc.. One small point - it is perhaps slightly too easy to rotate the switch end disc when in use (which will lock it). This is probably just my pudgy fingers but if it were tightened slightly that would be an improvement to me. Other than that it's just great - the parts are all very cleanly machined and screw and unscrew smoothly and easily. Marks out of 10 - 9.9 (the switch thing). Very, very good indeed!

    Arrow Frog's initial written review....

I got my Mako along with the 3.7v Minno sleeve and 5v Maksi sleeve today. They came with batteries and chargers, and a baccy tin with the Mako logo to keep it all in. It is made in the United Kingdom.

So far I am impressed. I have owned a lot of mods since I started vaping in 2008. This is absolutely superb. Well made and it certainly drives the catros I am using. I love the idea of just changing the sleeves to change the size of batteries you want to use.

The button is silky smooth to operate and twists to lock preventing missfires in the pocket.

The 5V option is interesting. It uses a custom 5v NiMh pack instead of the traditional lithium cells. This means it has a special charger which smokejuice.co.uk supply along with the kit.
