Manual Battery Issue

Hello, I bought a manual battery for a 401/402 from your site about a month ago, and just today the battery started hitting really light, and the light does not go off when i hit the switch. Also when i screw it into the charger the light on the charger is an orange color instead of red. I know its not the charger because my brother has a kit that he ordered from you, and his batteries are charging just fine, and he has had them for a couple of months now. I was wondering if there was anything i could do to get my battery working again, as im down to my last battery, and im jonesing.
I figure to avoid this problem in the future ill be buying a 5 pack from you guys, but right now I needs my battery to be working.
