It took me 29 days to smoke my last analog. I immediately cut down to 1-2 analogs a day, then after I smoked the last of a pack I had in my car, I was done. That was 23 days ago, and I really haven't had any cravings since.
no. but, it was months after i got my first ecig that i finally quit smoking. its just a matter of finding what works for you.

Still smoke a pipe and cigars. That count? Nothing will ever be the same as actual smoke.
I instantly quit after my first puff - had a couple of packs still around the house and never touched them until my atty went bad and then I smoked analogs until my new supply came (I switched to a 510 at that point) - never looked back and haven't had one since and it's been about three months now - oh and I was a pack a day smoker. I love vaping - don't know that I will ever quit vaping but I know I won't go back to analogs! Now, if only they could figure out a way to add caffeine to the mix I could probably kick my Coke habit - lol!
I've been a pack and half smoker for 30+ years, just started e-cigs last week. I've got a few packs of analogs from my last carton left and been lighting up 3 or 4 day, mostly out of habit. I do not plan on purchasing any more analogs once these are gone and my desire to light up has decreased tremendously. The after a meal cig has been the hardest to give up, but I am confident that vaping will be the answer to totally quitting!

I quit, but didn't put any effort into quitting...it just happened once I started vaping. I took a drag of an analog a couple of days ago and it actually didn't give me the hit I thought it would. It was more of a curiosity thing as I wanted to see what it was like. I don't miss it on any level at this point.
I quit the day my PV came in the mail, still have a pack of Marlboro Reds on my bookshelf.
I quit smoking the day I got my first 510 kit. I even had cigarettes in the house. It seemed easy because vaping is so much more enjoyable. I knew right away I would never need another analog, and have since stocked up on juice and parts just to make sure. I spend a lot of time reading the forum and "playing" with my PV and juices and stuff. That is big part of it. I was a PAD camel non filter BTW.
From my first vap I stoped the smoke sticks I had been sucking down @ 1 1/2 - 2 PAD for 45 years, Could not be happier

After vaping for 3 days I tried a stigma stick to see of there was a marked difference... I can say without a doubt that, barring government intervention, I will never smoke another cigarette again. Of course if they make it impossible to vape I will probably reevaluate my stance. Hopefully by then I will have weaned myself off of nicotine though and it will be back to toothpicks and/or cinnamon sticks to satisfy my oral fixations...
