I quit the day I received my eGo kit too. I gave away the 3 open packs I had, one at home, one in my car, and one in the wifes car to a friend that still smokes analogs along with vaping. Never felt the need to light one up after I picked up vaping.

Quit smoking analogs on the 20th of July, 2010.

I sometimes smoke an analog, but only because I forget to charge my Riva or 510 batteries. But it happens very rarely.

PaulB - I fall into that camp. Smoked 2 packs a day. Started vaping 1 month ago and have only had 2 cigarettes (mainly out of curiosity). They were pretty nasty. And this is from someone that didn't want to quit. My husband has begged me for years to stop - but I just didn't want to. I don't have any obvious side effects from smoking analogs like shortness of breath, smokers cough, etc... I just loved to smoke period. I adored smoking. Smoking was my friend - and I loved her.

I started this thinking that an e-cig would not be satisfying - but if I had to quit to please my family this just might keep me from taking that eventual trip to the store to buy a pack when I got stressed out. I can quit easily - I just can't stay quit and I always make that trip to the store to buy a pack - because I just need one smoke. Problem is - I always smoked the rest of the pack. I would finish the pack and be back to square one.

I started vaping and have maybe had a couple of urges a week for an analog but that's it. And they do exactly what I wanted - which is resisting the urge to go out and buy another pack. I'm happily vapng away...

I was smoking and vaping for about 1 week after I got my ecig but then completely switched over. To the date I don't smoke any cigarettes, only when I RARELY forget to charge my battery and go to work on an empty ecig lol.

It took me about 2 weeks of transition but I have been analog free for about 8 months now. I occasionally get a cigarette, but only when i forget to charge my batteries and I'm left without ecig power during work or in a place where i cant charge my batteries.

I use a Hello 016, low resistance atties, and 24MG e-liquid from Halo. End of Analogs!

Guess I'm another of the rare ones. I've been vaping for 7 months but I still have the occasional cigarette, usually one in the morning and one after supper, often don't finish them. Most of the time I really don't crave one or even want one, vaping takes care of all that. I definitely feel the health differences and have noticed that if I'm around a bunch of smokers the smoke is starting to bother me.

When I started vaping I never took the stance that it was smoke or vape, but try to vape more than smoke. Very quickly tapered down to 5-10 smokes a day. Now rarely more than two and I see in the near future forgetting to have them. I've never really had any rough days or hard cravings, if I really want a cigarette, I have one, I just rarely want one. Another incentive for me is I still budget a carton plus every week and can use that money for trying out interesting PV, new juices, different mods, etc.

Chuck B AWESOME advice. I was taking the "I can't have" stance. I like the idea of taking the cig budget money to try new things. THANKS!

Been 6-7 months here, and I still have analogs daily.
