Was kinda still is, Which of the BAJILLION makes or models to choose from which of the BAJILLION vendors, But the list is shrinking and getting better, granted now the list of BAJILLION flavors is growing....
Also size, why no one will put things next to a ruler or a commen item to give an idea of real size is beyond me? Hands dont really work, some have tiny/dainty hands some have meat hooks...

The most confusing thing for me was not knowing when to stop since the ecig doesn't burn out like a real analog. So at the beginning I was counting puffs, comparing my vape to another dude who was smoking an analog, that sort of stuff. But now I somewhat "feel" when I had enough and just put it back into my pocket.

I think that perhaps the most confusing thing to me when I first started researching all of this was that a lot of eCig vendors presume their potential customers know the lingo already, so I was a little confused about a few things whose definitions were unclear to me. In particular it took me a while before I learned what the difference between a cartridge and a cartomizer were. Eventually I figured it all out with due diligence (and no small bit of help from the forums here) and all was good and I'm very happy with my first purchase, but for a total newbie who's only just learned of their existence I'm sure it can be a bit of a bewildering topic to take in and just a little bit obscure to learn about.

What level of nic do I buy (still trying to figure that out). What flavors should I buy, how many cartos do I really need and the list goes on and on

Same here! And that's a great reminder, especially for noobs. Just vape enough to make the cravings go away and not all day for the hell of it.
This should be a sticky somewhere...

For me, it's all the names vendors make up for the same e-cig. If its a 510, state it in the description. I spend too much time looking at hardware only to find that it doesn't work with the 510 without some sort of addaptor. And I think the MAGA is used too much...

I was confused about everything at first. I researched for two weeks the multitudes of e-cigs choices and really thought about everything that I wanted. Settled on an e-cig and I am very happy with it.

Now, my biggest problem is finding which e-juice to get. Thought I would like the tobacco flavored juice (got 5 tobacco flavor and 2 others). Hated the tobacco flavor and realize the sweet or nutty flavors are more what I want.

Now, which brand, what is in them and how to use the juice most efficiently is where I am at....

Next will be making my own e-juice.
