But I should BOIL the atomizers? like, in a pan? boil it? I was going to just run very hot water through them.
Thanks
Pedro--stand it upright in the pan cartridge side down with water just almost the top. At 220 degrees, no harm at all will come to the atomizer or its contact points--dry in oven and then reprime with plenty of e-liquid--6 drops--let stand so it absorbs in the wire mesh in the atomizer--with a fresh filled cartridge in there for 30 minutes. --then fire up with fresh battery using short hits--It may take 10 minutes of hitting to get it to fire if it is going to-----Sun

Strange that it should need to be boiled clean after only 4 days.

They're working!
I boiled them well, dried, flooded, etc. Working good. I noticed it was important to let the dry atomiser abosorb the moisture again.
Thank you, Sun. And thanks everyone else too.
Did going through this whole procedure, affect my atomisers in a bad way? I feel really bad about it, and of course, paranoid that it's not the same...
Also, do I have to use cartridges? (the foam)
It just feels so much less clogged without it.
Thanks

Pedro--glad to here you are up and running again!! You can drip smoke with juice--many do--but it really kills an atomizer quick so be sure to get ready to burn through them if you do that--otherwise stick with the cartridges!!--Happy Vaping--Sun

Why it worked

Houdini--this is a good case of the difference between a residue problem and a flooding problem--In Pedro's case, his atomizers were backside flooded, that is flooded behind the ceramic cup that hold the coil and the boiling and drying cleared it out. I would not have worked if the issues was residue build up on the coil---Sun

Hi Phil,
Please please please help me.
e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/12074-help-atomizers-gone-crazy.html
Now, today, they are tasting very bad (2 atomizers). I boiled one of them again, and its trying to fire-up.
I just purchased my first e-cig - mini starter kit from you 1 week ago. And after i got them, I ordered from you 3 bottles of liquid which arrived yesterday. I also got another order for 1 juice, 1 battery, and 1 atomizer from litecigs.
Please help. they are both un-vapable (i do have the 3rd atomizer that i dont wanna even mess with. and it's one of yours. the 2 to which this is going on are 1 yours and 1 from litecig).
Thank you.
Pedro Campos
any help apreciated
