Hey! I just started vaping 4 or 5 days ago (mini starter kit, e-smokey treats). Loved it, and realized (maybe mistakenly, pls tell me the other side) that cartridges sucked. Ordered some e-liquid right away from LiteCigs - here in PA- and been dripping directly on atomizer for 2 days and everything was awesome. Strawberry and Virginia Blend. Today, my liquid order from e-smokey treats arrived. Before trying it, I did the quick-draining method of twisting toilet paper, inserting it in the atomizer, and giving a few minutes for paper to absorb the stuff. I saw this on some video here. Then I dripped 2 drops of my new marlboro 36 mg, directly on the atomizer. I couldn't wait, very excited. Put the mouthpiece on, puffed, ? ... ?! .. lil vapor .... something wrong....... Grabbed 2nd atomizer. Same procedure, 2 drops. Directly. And same thing happenedd!!!!! HEEELP! Both atomizers are very weird now. Oh man. ![]() |

Don't panic. You've either flooded it or dried it out too much (hard to tell which). Either way, once you get the atomiser settled down again it should start working. Try blowing it out from the battery side, adding a couple of drops to the mesh and vaping like a maniac. I'm assuming here that the atomiser still gets warm when you take a drag - that means it's trying to work.

I'd say stick with it a while before you get into radical steps like baking and boiling. Atomisers are notoriously finicky and can take quite a while to settle down when they've been disturbed, at least that's been my experience.

I'll defer to Sun - he's been at this longer than me.
