first impressions

Just got my NJOY NCIG in the mail today. After charging the battery for only a couple of hours (the charger light turned green after 1 hour) I put my first e-cig together and started vaping. I'm pretty sure this is going to be a keeper. After a couple of primer puffs I can get a nice mouth full of vapor and when I inhale it I get a nice throat hit. I get a nicotine rush after only a couple of drags and have to force myself to wait a while before I take another hit. I got the highest nicotine content that NJOY offered and It's a little too high for me. I've been smoking a little over a pack of analogs a day so I thought a higher nicotine level would be the way to go. This would work if I only allowed myself to take a couple of drags every half hour or so but I'd like to vape more frequently. I'm not really fond of the taste (tobacco regular) but it's not horrible or anything. I've got some vanilla juice I'm going to try once I empty a cart. It's kind of like smoking a pipe. Once I get my nicotine level down a bit and a flavor I like I think it's going to be a nice relaxing way to "smoke". I'll keep you all posted on my progress during the next few days.

If you think you're getting too much nic. Take a small amount of juice and cut it with glycerin. Try a small amount first. I cut my juice 50 / 50, and it works great for me. It also doubles my supply, and I get vapor up the wazoo. Glycerin from CVS. 95.5% Pure - USP. It's in the skin care section.

Go ahead and get some backup atomizers. Everyone I know who's gotten an Njoy has had the atomizer die in the first 2 weeks or so.

Edit: In all fairness to Njoy, I should mention that I called them and had a replacement in 3 days.

Yup - ALWAYS have spare atomizers. But as far as the NJOY goes, I'm going on my second month with the same atomizer.

I never thought I would give up smoking, but when I first started lurking around and seeing what was out there, I thought i might be on to something. The taste isn't all that great. I don't know what i was expecting, but not what I had hoped for. I miss an ash tray. I cleaned mine out in hopes I am quitting cold turkey, but an e cig doesn't want to hang out on the lip of an ashtray unfortunately. Anyone else have the need for an ashtray???????

If you're using the carts that came with it, the taste of those is almost always horrible. Get some flavored carts, or better yet some empty carts and some juice. Try some different things, and forget about wanting it to taste like a regular cig.

My ashtray now has a martini glass in it. I find that perfect for holding my ecigs.

I had some Camel Janty juice - tasted like moldy socks. Keep trying other stuff.
